Gifted Ones, a term used to classify humans born with powers that give them inhuman traits. Gifted Ones, termed Gifteds for short, look like any other normal human, and many across the Earth live out their lives by hiding their abilities as best as they can. Prejudice towards the Gifteds is widespread, and is often encouraged by officials across the world that live in fear of the special powers granted to the Gifted Ones.

Gifted Ones Chapter OneA light breeze fluttered a young man's cloak as he stepped out of the dense forest. His head poked curiously out of the hood as he spotted a large wall sticking up about twelve feet into the air, which served to cut off his access to a large manse the wall was built around. He reached his hands up to the hood and removed it, sighing as he felt the breeze whip softly against his face. His dark brown eyes scanned the dimly lit area, making sure that there were no sentries posted outside the walls.
